Stopped in this little spot for breakfast before heading to the beach, and what a treat! Nice little patio welcomes customers into a small space with an open air kitchen. The server was fast friendly as we ordered coffee and leche con café to start.
Coffee was strong and flavorful, and leche con café was creamy and tasty. I ordered the Omelette de Madre Patria that was filled with slices of red pepper, potatoes, and a Mexican cheese that was savory and flavorful. The egg of the omelette was so tasty that if I had ordered it by itself, I would've had no complaints. The dish was served with mashed beans and a small salad. My partner had the chilaquiles with salsa verde and chicken that was also delicious, and the sauce was so good that he had to scoop up the rest with a spoon. And did I mention how fresh the ingredients were?! Fresh fruit juice was being made, and you could see how the other ingredients were whole before being cooked.
This place comes highly recommended for breakfast, and we might have to come back for lunch.
